PT100/PT1000 surface sensors
Surface sensors are produced either as mineral insulated thermocouples or as mineral insulated resistance thermometers (Pt100, Pt1000). You may select a design. The contact plates are available as copper or stainless steel plates, at various sizes and thicknesses.
These sensors for surface measurements comprise all advantages of common mineral insulated thermocouples and resistance thermometers (Pt100, Pt1000). The advantage of the surface measurement design is a widened surface area at the measuring tip, enabling a more precise temperature measurement. The sensor can either be connected or fixed with kapton tape (up to 370°C).
