Mineral insulated resistance thermometers

Mineral insulated resistance thermometers (Pt100 or Pt1000) are produced with diameters ranging from 1.0mm to 8.0mm. As we produce according to our customers preferences, length and diameter of the probe are freely selectable.

1. Measuring resistance
Depending on temperature range and application, we use Pt100 or Pt1000 chip-resistors (thin-film, -70 up to 500°C) or wire wound Pt100 or Pt1000 ceramic measuring resistances (-200 up to 650°C). We also produce double resistance thermometers (e.g. 2x Pt100) to measure and regulate the temperature or to operate a recorder / data logger at the same time.

2. Connection
Mineral insulated resistance thermometers (Pt100, Pt1000) are available with 2-, 3- and 4-wire-connections.

3. Diameter
Diameter of the mineral insulated cable throughout the cable: 1.0mm, 1.50mm, 1.60mm, 2.00mm, 2.80mm, 3.00mm, 4.50mm, 6.00mm, 8.00mm

1.00mm / measuring tip enlarged to 1.20mm
1.60mm / measuring tip enlarged to 1.80mm
2.80mm / measuring tip enlarged to 3.20mm

4. Calibration
The measuring resistances (Pt100, Pt1000) we use in our production are in accordance with DIN EN 60751, class A. Upon request, we apply measuring resistances with a higher accuracy, e.g. 1/3 DIN, 1/5 DIN or 1/10 DIN.

For all our resistance thermometers and also for products produced by our competitors we provide works test certificates or official DKD test certificates.
