Cable sensor with protective tube
In these resistance thermometers (Pt100, Pt1000), the measuring resistance is directly connected to the connection cable built into a stainless steel protective tube. The protection tubes are available with different diameters and at various lengths, wall thicknesses and materials, and they can be combined with connection cables with different diameters and isolation materials (for example PVC, Silicone, Teflon, PTFE or glassilk). The temperature range covers -180°C to 400°C, depending on the isolation of the cable.
The junction between protective tube and cable is crimped or, if necessary, triple rolled to protect from humidity. Waterproof versions are also possible. A shrinking sleeve is then shrinked over the measuring resistance and the crimped connection.
The following versions are available:
- - Protective tube with thin film measuring resistor
- - Protective tube with wire wound ceramic measuring resistor
- - different diameter of the protective tube
- - different types of isolation of the compensating cable (PVC, Silicone, Teflon, PTFE or glassilk)
